Earlier this year, Islamic Relief committed to help families across Libya. In addition to our initial emergency response, we focused on long-term development assistance to help pull vulnerable communities out of the cycle of poverty including food aid and access to clean drinking water.
Islamic Relief worked in Tunisia to help pull vulnerable communities out of the cycle of poverty through access to healthcare and education; sustainable livelihood support intended to enhance the agricultural sector through the construction of greenhouses and skill-based training; humanitarian aid for Libyan refugees, orphan family support, and winter aid.
