Islamic Relief USA is on the U.S. government’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charity list, which means that federal employees can choose to contribute to the charity of their choice through automatic payroll deductions.
The CFC is the world’s largest workplace charity drive and raises millions of dollars every year to assist thousands of charities through donations from federal employees and service members. The CFC supports eligible nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
IRUSA’s participation in the CFC was kicked off in September 2010, when IRUSA took part in a CFC launch event in Seattle, WA. It showcased U.S. nonprofit groups featured on the CFC list, including IRUSA.
At first, many of the attendees didn’t know about Islamic Relief USA, according to Christina Tobias-Nahi, who represented IRUSA at the event: “They stopped by to talk to us about the projects we are doing both overseas and in the U.S. and were enthusiastic to learn more.”

Federal employees who are interested in donating to IRUSA through the CFC should reference CFC code 10194.
