“More than 200 backpacks were given out.
They included essential items like notebooks, folders, masks, and more.
The Share Center Program Coordinator says the event is to ensure every kid has what they need.
“We planned this back to school kick off just in order to ensure that every kid is getting the necessary supplies, backpacks everything they need to start themselves off for the school year. Every kid deserves to be dignified, and they’re not able to do that unless they’re given the proper amount of resources” said Hoba Shalash, Program Coordinator.
The share center is planning more events like the back to school kick off for the fall.”
