In this episode, Abdul-Malik Ahmad, best known as a member of the popular group Native Deen, gives an inside look at the up-and-coming online video-streaming channel, DeenTV.

One of the founding members of the new channel, he explains their goal of inspiring people to the remembrance of God through music and art.

“The main thing was giving an alternative, and to provide a safe space where people can come and just watch videos that they know anything on there is going to be positive and it’s not going to have any negativity or anything against our faith,” he says.

The new show is not just for Muslims, but for anyone interested in wholesome entertainment. It boasts a wide variety of shows and promises “something for everyone,” including series like “Beyond the Beat” and “The Yaz Show.”
