Volunteer Videographer / Photographer
If you’re an avid Photographer or budding Videographer, you can develop your skills and capture content at Islamic Relief events or activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote Islamic Relief work in a creative and innovative way.
- Assisting with gathering content (photo or video) from key events & activities across the UK.
- Following a videographer/photographer brief.
- Adhering to content gathering & consent guidelines.
- Upload content onto Islamic Relief’s Digital content Library.

Fundraising Volunteer
Help us raise much needed funds to alleviate poverty and empower families worldwide, whilst working within your local community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Events: Planning and promoting upcoming events, set-up and execution
- Fundraising: Running bucket collections, stalls, helping at fundraising events and much more
- Promotion: Acting as an ambassador for IR, representing us at different events and school assemblies
- Challenges: Taking part in running, cycling, trekking and climbing challenges – you could even skydive or bungee jump!
- Brainstorming: Putting your skills to use in helping our fundraising teams raise more funds
- Administration: Making phone calls, writing letters and filing paperwork
Call Centre & Office Volunteer (London)
Be the first port of call for our donors by joining our Supporter Relations team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering calls to take donations and respond to queries during live TV appeals
- General office administrative tasks
- Ensuring all calls are correctly dealt with and logged
- When required, informing callers of Islamic Relief’s history, vision and programmes

The Cake Campaign Volunteer Driver
Without the volunteer drivers, The Cake Campaign would not be the incredible success it is. Volunteer with us this Ramadan and help deliver cakes across your local area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading, unloading and delivering cakes
- Managing delivery routes and schedules
- Providing an excellent services to all donors
- Ensuring any queries/incidents are correctly dealt with and logged
- When required, informing people of Islamic Relief’s history, vision and programmes
- Being an Islamic Relief ambassador and conducting yourself in the best manner at all times
