In the village of Alharah, in the Harf Sufain district of the Amran governorate, Salem’s family faced a difficult situation. Their two-year-old grandson, Mohammed, was suffering from severe malnutrition. To make matters worse, their one-year-old granddaughter, Tasneem, was struggling with the same problem.
Salem, a 38-year old sole provider for a family of 14, found it challenging to meet everyone’s needs with the income he earned from his livestock. The weight of his responsibilities became overwhelming. Fortunately, donors like you stepped in to support the local health facility in the Harf Sufain district, in turn providing essential healthcare services to Tasneem and Mohammed.
With time, Mohammed’s health started improving, and Tasneem began her journey to recovery. Salem’s belief in the power of change remained strong even during the darkest times. His hope inspired those around him.
No matter how tough things get, we must hold on to hope. It keeps us going and leads us to a better future.
