The Afghan crisis is one of the biggest humanitarian crises our world has faced. Conflict, violence, and chronic poverty have forced more than 6 million people to be displaced, both within Afghanistan and in other countries. Women and young girls are among those most affected. And the conflict is only escalating, putting a strain on both the Afghan community and their host communities alike.
Islamic Relief has made a commitment of $2.1 million to help both families across Afghanistan and the 83,000 refugees newly arrived in the US.
