“AS we all know, climate change has taken its toll on the earth for the past few years. Well recently, in Pakistan, climate change has only become worse. In Sindh, communities are being threatened by water overflowing down from the Indus river. Local officials say that in the district of Dadu, more than a million people have been displaced as hundreds of villages are being submerged. Thousands of people are still stranded on the path. As of right now the military is working hard to evacuate all of the helpless civilians by plane and by boat. Sadly not all can be saved because the villages are very far from each other and the planes/boats can only hold a few people at a time. By the looks of it, Pakistan doesn’t seem to have that much time left.
If you want to help Pakistan as they fight this life-threatening situations, you can donate to the Islamic Relief USA charity at https://irusa.org/.”
