Please note: Donations made toward IRUSA’s Jordan fund may be used to support important emergency or long-term work across the country, or for Jordanian refugees in other countries.
Your Aid, Their Relief
You can help refugees and people in need in Jordan keep moving forward. IRUSA uses donations to provide funding for a wide variety of programs, emergencies when they occur, and more. Many Jordanians and refugees in Jordan are still recovering from the worst of winter. Donors like you play a crucial role in providing what they need.
A Legacy of Service and Hope
Islamic Relief USA began working in Jordan in 1997 — just shortly after its doors opened in 1993. Our work there has spanned decades, and has helped countless families, including Palestinian and Syrian refugees.
Jordan has been a place where IRUSA could establish a haven for those who were driven from their homes. From life-saving support for refugees to a state-of-the-art mobile clinic, IRUSA has continued to bring quality service to the people of Jordan while adapting to the country’s changing needs.
Jordan’s population has doubled 12 times during the past 60 years, according to the United Nations. Large influxes of refugees from neighboring areas, including Palestine and Iraq, and most recently, hundreds of thousands from Syria, present significant challenges for Jordan, which possesses limited natural resources.
