Islamic Relief USA is Monitoring Aftermath of Hurricane Helene


Islamic Relief USA is thinking about the people directly impacted by Hurricane Helene the past several days. According to CBS News, at least 116 people have died in some 600 miles of area across several states, including Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, among others.

Hundreds of thousands of people have lost electricity or suffered property damage.

“Islamic Relief’s Disaster Management Team is working with State Gov and Non-Governmental partners in affected states to support the survivors in the recovery process,” IRUSA said in a statement.

Islamic Relief USA continues to monitor the situation and is ready to provide help if needed. The organization’s Disaster Management Team has worked in several communities that have been severely impacted by major weather events and other natural disasters, including North Carolina and Texas.
