Islamic Relief extend an invitation to register for our upcoming Disaster Chaplaincy Training led by our partners at New York Disaster Interfaith Services, NYDIS. This training is beneficial for future disaster responders, current and future mental health professionals, social workers, religious community members, and active civically engaged community members. This training is not limited to the Muslim community and our collaboration as a community is a key to the healing with one another through these disasters. Disaster Chaplains are utilized to provide emotional and spiritual support to individuals affected by disasters. These include survivors and their families not immediately impacted by the disaster.
