The Social Engagement Specialist is responsible for helping with the research, development, implementation, and post-mortem auditing of multi-tier, multi-channel engagement campaigns/assets, with special focus on (but not limited to) social media. The Social Media Specialist works under the supervision of the Engagement Manager, and performs to ensure that social media campaigns and efforts adhere to IRUSA’s aesthetic, brand, voice, and policy while following industry best practices. The Social Media Specialist uses her/his skills to creatively, efficiently, and effectively amplify IRUSA’s brand(s); stimulate engagement with target audiences; inspire donations; and achieve organizational objectives; and works to propel overall engagement efforts toward success. Direct Marketing Specialist

The Direct Marketing Specialist is responsible for the direct marketing efforts, which include research, development, implementation, and post-mortem auditing of multi-tier, multi-channel marketing campaigns/assets, such as (but not limited to) email appeals and direct mail. The Direct Marketing Specialist also serves as a primary writer and editor for the Marketing team. The Direct Marketing Specialist works under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Manager, and works to ensure that content assets adhere to IRUSA’s aesthetic, brand, voice, and policy, and follow industry best practices. The Direct Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient use of related budgets, and maximizing ROI. The Direct Marketing Specialist uses her/his skills to creatively, efficiently, and effectively build and broadcast content as a storytelling tool and information dissemination vehicle to stimulate engagement with target audiences and inspire donations; contributes to multi-channel, multi-tier campaign development; and assists with training staff and volunteers on content development. Mass Marketing Specialist

The Mass Marketing Specialist is responsible for the mass advertising and marketing efforts, which include research, development, implementation, and post-mortem auditing of multi-tier, multi-channel marketing and advertising campaigns/assets, such as (but not limited to) paid and earned print, radio, TV, digital, and online advertising; billboards; mobile advertising, including branded bus and vans; geo-targeted street/guerilla marketing and leafleting; convention experience, road shows, fairs/festivals, and public event marketing; sponsorships; promotional items; and more. The Mass Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient use of related budgets, and maximizing ROI. The Mass Marketing Specialist seeks out innovative and leverages current resources to further amplify IRUSA’s brand(s); stimulate engagement with target audiences; inspire donations; and assists with training staff and volunteers on mass marketing. Marketing Project Coordinator

The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing all marketing projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. The coordinator will also assist teams within the division with scheduling outreach activities and events and will provide assistance in managing any related contact databases, production schedules, vendor research and vetting, and deliverables. This position will serve as a liaison between the Marketing and Development division and its clients. The position will also require some administrative support to the head of Marketing and Development. Creative and Brand Specialist

The Creative and Brand Specialist is responsible for helping house, archive, organize, and produce and edit multi-channel design work, including logos, icons, brand visuals, fonts, campaign aesthetics and style guides, brochures, ads, booths, publications, multimedia, etc. The Creative and Brand Specialist works under the supervision of the Creative and Brand Manager, and works to ensure that design and multimedia assets adhere to IRUSA’s aesthetic, brand, voice, and policy, and follow industry best practices. The Creative and Brand Specialist uses her/his skills to creatively, efficiently, and effectively build and broadcast design and multimedia products that tell visual humanitarian stories that stimulate engagement with target audiences, and inspire donations, as well as to successfully market events, campaigns, and products; contributes to multi-channel campaign development; and assists with training staff and volunteers on design and multimedia production, and related software use. Gifts-in-Kind Sourcing Specialist

IRUSA’s Gift-In-Kind (GIK) Program responds to humanitarian emergencies in the US and around the world. It primarily provides a range of in-kind donations to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities in poor countries facing shortages of medicine, medical supplies, and other relevant goods and equipment. The Gifts-in-Kind Sourcing Specialist will provide critical support in identification of new Gifts-in-Kind donors, cultivation and strengthening of partnerships, creation and maintenance of a GIK donors database, and conducting valuation of pharmaceuticals. The position reports to Deputy Director of Programs.

Development Coordinator (CA)

Islamic Relief is seeking a Development Coordinator who is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major and minor gifts, initiating, maintaining and growing donor relationships to maximize their long-term value and benefit to the organization. The Development Coordinator strives to match the philanthropic interests of current and prospective donors with the mission and goals of the organization. The majority of time is spent constantly prospecting the community for potential donors to maximize the donor base and to build support for Islamic Relief projects.
