The position is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with and files all local, state and federal finance and specialty reports in a timely manner. The individual serves as a key resource in developing key public financial documentation, provides quality assurance for outgoing reports, ensures that financial and other documentation is available to internal requestors, and other activities that serve operational needs, as necessary.

Graphics & Multimedia Specialist (VA)

The Graphics & Multimedia Specialist is responsible for the design and production of a wide range of communication and marketing materials for Islamic Relief USA including but not limited to newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, success stories, posters, flyers, signage, etc. This individual will be responsible for helping to support IRUSA’s branding and visual appeal to its donors and the broader public. The candidate must show commitment to IRUSA’s faith inspired values and principles as well as a commitment to the vision and mission of the organization.

Lead Content Developer/Writer (VA)

Islamic Relief USA is seeking a qualified candidate to lead editorial efforts, with special regard to Content Marketing. This person will be a lead writer as well as oversee the writing team’s brainstorming and production of IRUSA materials and publications, including the annual Partnership magazine and the annual report; advertising language, social media posts, and more. He or she will also work closely with other teams in the department as well as throughout the organization to make sure that proper editorial planning is done, writing deadlines are met, and IRUSA writing style is adhered to. The candidate will report to the Marketing Manager.

Director – Project Management (VA)

This position is a newly created role that will be reporting to the Board of Directors. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Board in all of its activities with the primary objective of ensuring that key initiatives are executed with the optimal result. This will include working closely with the Head of Marketing & Partner Development to execute on key fundraising initiatives.

Head of Marketing & Partner Development (VA)

This position is a newly created role that will be reporting to the Board of Directors. This individual will be responsible for leading all marketing and partner development initiatives at the Waqf, with the primary goal of establishing an effective, scalable and sustainable fundraising program. This will include managing the external communications and messaging of the Waqf in the broader community as well as with key stakeholders (i.e. IR USA).

Human Resources Manager (VA)

IRUSA is growing and we are looking to increase our Human Resources capacity. This position involves administering human resources policies, programs and practices: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and formulating procedures in IRUSA’s overall recruiting strategy and recommending policies and best practices to senior management. Events Coordinator (CA)

Supports in planning and coordinating special events, guest speaker tours, concert tours and fundraising programs.
Assists in organizing and implementing community fundraising programs.
Helps identify prospective corporate sponsors.
Negotiates contracts with facilities and hotels and manages the budget for all events.
Facilitates services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, catering, signage, displays, etc.

Child Protection Specialist (VA)

The Child Protection Specialist supports the IRUSA Programs Department and our partners in the field who are benefiting children at risk by providing technical assistance and guidance on child protection. He/she contributes to the development of policies, protocols and operational practices. He/she offers capacity building, spreads latest research and evaluates child protection mechanisms.

Director of Operations (VA)

The Director of Operations is responsible for the growth, efficiency and continued success of Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA). This role will collaborate with executives, senior management and staff to create and improve systems, while ensuring consistent and effective internal processes and communication.

Regional Manager (FL)

The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s Regional Office and for oversight of regional activities regarding donor initiatives and accountability. In addition to operations and people management responsibilities, the individual oversees and accounts for the regional office budget; plans and facilitates regional events in coordination with others; and communicates with prospective and current donors.
