Roxy Pia spent a picture-perfect fall day giving haircuts Sunday in Pioneer Park.
“I’ve lost count, there have been so many,” she said midday, carefully trimming a man’s sideburns with electric clippers.
Pia, a volunteer with Haircuts for Hope, was among some 200 Utahns who took part in Day of Dignity, an event to provide services and referrals to homeless people, refugees and others underserved populations.
