BURBANK, California (January 12, 2005) – For the second consecutive year
Islamic Relief USA has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator,
America’s largest independent evaluator of charities.
Charity Navigator helps charitable givers make intelligent giving decisions by
providing information on over 3,500 charities and by evaluating the financial
health of each of these charities.
Charity Navigator, in a letter to Islamic Relief, stated:
“Charity Navigator (www.CharityNavigator.org) salutes your charitable
efforts. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that your
organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully
managing the finances of your organization in an efficient and effective
manner. This consistency in your rating is an exceptional feat, especially
given the economic challenges many charities have had to face in the last
year.”
In addition, Islamic Relief is one of seven featured charities listed on Charity
Navigator’s homepage in the “Tsunami Victims Need Your Help” section.
We at Islamic Relief have self-imposed high standards of excellence, which is
the cornerstone of our organization. With the continued support, cooperation,
and partnership of our donors, supporters, volunteers, and beneficiaries
across the world, we hope to maintain, and even improve upon the quality of
our work in the future.
