“WAYNE, NJ — A nonprofit Islamic organization is helping a township organization feed kids this summer.
Islamic Relief USA, a humanitarian and advocacy nonprofit has awarded a grant to Women and Families Ascending Association (WFAA), a group that, among other things, works to end domestic abuse and empower people, especially single mothers, to help their families.
“There are so many children receiving at least one meal during the school year. We continue that service during the summer,” said Naeem Muhammad, U.S. programs manager for Islamic Relief USA.”
