Due to torrential rain and rush upstreams, flood has affected more than three million people all over 21 districts in Bangladesh. While some districts are improving through the steady progress, districts such as Jamalpur, Sylhet, Gaibandha, Sunamganj, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar are the most affected area so far.
There is a scanty level of drinking water supplies, places to takes shelter in and diseases such as dengue and fever are spreading in these areas. In order to help. During these times of needs, the survivors and victims need as much as possible assistance necessary.
Charity organisations such as Islamic Relief USA, pennyappeal, CONCERN worldwide, Team বন্যা, Public Health Foundation of Bangladesh and many others are accepting donations and helping the people in these regions. If you want to help and train for the post-flood actions, do contact these organisations accordingly.
More than 100 people died over the week, due to a low source of healthy food and water, snakebites, drowning and other waterborne diseases.”
