The following is an excerpt from an article posted in the FCNP.com in May 2018:
“TWELVE STUDENTS graduated from the Islamic Relief USA-supported Sewing Academy at Dar-Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church on Thursday, May 3. The graduates put in 100 hours of training and learned to use both consumer and commercial-grade sewing machines. As a symbol of the graduates’ accomplishments, the students wore dresses that they made themselves.”
