Water and Sanitation

In 2016, IRUSA staff and volunteers went door-to-door delivering clean water to residents of Flint, MI, which was in a state of emergency due to contaminated drinking water.

In 2015, IRUSA provided urgent water aid to our neighbors in Detroit, MI, in order to prevent water shut offs. Read more about this landmark effort here.

These are just two examples of the focus IRUSA has on providing adequate water and sanitation for our neighbors in need: Efforts to provide clean water and assist with sanitation facilities continue throughout the country.
