Harvey Project Coordinator (TX)

Coordinate the Hurricane Harvey disaster Recovery work of Islamic Relief USA in the municipality of Houston TX and as necessary participate as a member of the National Disaster Response Team. The coordinator will responsible for developing and enforcing the operational policies of IRUSA’s volunteer dormitory. The coordinator will also engage and develop local partnerships with relevant government agencies, non-for profit organizations, private sector organizations and effectively represent IRUSA on local disaster forums such as relevant County VOADs (COADs). Additionally, candidate will be primarily responsible for providing oversight to Long Term Recovery grants and be responsible for all grant reporting for the Harvey Project. The candidate must show commitment to IRUSA’s faith inspired values and principles as well as a commitment to the vision and mission of the organization.
