Calling All Hair Stylists, #HAIRCUTS4SYRIA

Hair stylists, barbers, and hairdressers all around the country: Join us on March 4 to be a part of a record-breaking event! Islamic Relief USA will attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the most amount of money raised for a charity in 24 hours through haircuts! Yes, you heard it right: HAIR CUTS! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to put your expertise and creativity into charitable action, and record-breaking work.

Why is it important?

Because we want to make sure the world is paying attention to Syria.

It’ll be six years this March 15 that the violence in Syria has been going on. According to UNHCR and OCHA, there are more than 4.8 million registered Syrian refugees, and 13.5+ million people inside of Syria in need of humanitarian aid. The United Nations has declared the Syrian conflict “the worst of the 21st century.”
